• 소개 및 적용: Decanoyl-p-nitroanilide (DepNA) is a yellow-colored substrate used to measure fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) activity. FAAH is an enzyme that hydrolyzes various amide head groups, including the endogenous substrate anandamide (AEA). DepNA is one of the nitroaniline fatty acid amides that can be used for this purpose, and when it is exposed to FAAH activity, it releases the yellow-colored dye p-nitroaniline, which can be easily measured using a 96-well plate spectrophotometer. This allows for the fast and convenient measurement of FAAH activity.
