• 소개 및 적용: Arachidonoyl glycine (NAGly) is an endogenous anandamide-like compound that has been isolated from cell cultures and mammalian brain extracts and has been synthesized as an analog of anandamide (AEA) for structure/activity testing. NAGly can be produced endogenously through oxidation of AEA or transacylation of arachidonoyl CoA. It has been reported to have analgesic activities in whole animal experiments, which are likely mediated through other signaling pathways since it is a poor ligand for the CB1 receptor. In addition, NAGly also acts as a T-type Ca2+ channel blocker and an endogenous GLYT2 inhibitor.
