  • 소개 및 적용: 1-Methyl-1H-indole-3-carboxylic acid is an important chemical compound that is widely used as a reactant in the preparation of various pharmaceutical compounds. It can be used as a reactant for the preparation of bisindolyl pyrimidinones, which are analogs of the PKC inhibitor LY333531. It can also be used as a reactant for the preparation of (heteroaryl)(carboxamido)arylpyrrole derivatives, which act as Cdc7 kinase inhibitors and have antitumor and antiproliferative properties. Additionally, it can be used as a reactant for the preparation of (pyrrolidinylmethoxy)cyclohexanecarboxylic acids, which are antigen-4 (VLA-4) antagonists, as well as EphB3 receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors, pyrazolodiazepine derivatives (which are human P2X7 receptor antagonists), and potent nonpeptidic urotensin II receptor agonists. Furthermore, 1-methyl-1H-indole-3-carboxylic acid can be used as a reactant for the preparation of pyrrolizidine esters, amides, and ureas, which are ligands for the 5-HT4 receptor. This compound can be synthesized by the oxidation of 1-methylindole-3-aldehyde with alkaline potassium permanganate, making it a valuable building block in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical compounds.
