• 소개 및 적용: Phosphorous acid (H3PO3) is a diprotic acid with various industrial and agricultural applications. It is used to produce phosphate salts for fertilizers, such as potassium phosphite, ammonium phosphite, and calcium phosphite. It is also involved in the preparation of phosphites like ATMP, HEDP, and PBTC, which are used as scale or corrosive inhibitors in water treatment. In chemical reactions, phosphorous acid acts as a reducing agent, and its salt, lead phosphite, is used as a PVC stabilizer. Additionally, it serves as a precursor in the preparation of phosphine and as an intermediate in the preparation of other phosphorus compounds. Phosphorous acid is used as a collector for cassiterite from ores with complex gangue composition, and Albright and Wilson have developed a range of collectors based on phosphonic acid mainly for the flotation of oxidic minerals like cassiterite, ilmenite, and pyrochlore. However, limited studies have been conducted on the performance of these collectors. Phosphorous acid is a white or yellow crystalline solid with a melting point of 70.1°C and a density of 1.651 g/cm3. It can cause severe irritation to the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes, and is toxic by ingestion, inhalation, and skin absorption. The alkali metal salts (phosphites) of phosphorous acid are widely marketed as agricultural fungicides or as a source of plant phosphorous nutrition. It is also used in stabilizing mixtures for plastic materials, inhibiting high-temperature corrosion of metal surfaces, and producing lubricants and lubricant additives.
