  • 소개 및 적용: Methoxypolyethylene glycol 350 (MPEG) is a versatile polymer used in various applications, including drug delivery and modification of therapeutic proteins to improve their pharmacokinetics. It has been studied for the synthesis of thermosensitive micellar cyclotriphosphazenes and a new class of amphiphilic poly(organophosphazene) through stepwise nucleophilic substitution. MPEG has a reactive chain end consisting of a methyl ether, which can undergo etherification in basic conditions and crosslinking to form hydrogels. m-PEG36-alcohol, a PEG linker with a hydroxyl group, can be further derivatized or replaced with other reactive functional groups, and its hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
