  • 소개 및 적용: Difluoromethyl triflate (TfO-CHF2) is a useful reagent for various difluoromethylation reactions, including the preparation of difluoromethoxylated heterocycles from hydroxylated N-based heterocycles, and the synthesis of trifluoromethylated arenes using diaryliodonium salts in the presence of copper and TBAT. It also allows for a simple method to prepare difluoromethyl ethers and thioethers from alcohols and thiols under basic conditions. Additionally, difluoromethyl phenols can be obtained in a single pot from boronic acids and C-H activation of arenes. This reagent is easy to handle, air-stable, and non-ozone-depleting, and can be synthesized by reacting TMSCF3 and triflic acid in the presence of TiCl4.
