• 소개 및 적용: Methoxyresorufin is a substrate used to differentiate isozymes of cytochrome P-450, particularly CYP1A1 and CYP1A2. It is utilized in various investigations, including the determination of cytochrome P4501A activities such as ethoxyresorufin O-deethylase (EROD) and methoxyresorufin O-demethylase (MROD) in liver microsomes, using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Methoxyresorufin is O-demethylated by CYP1A1/2, releasing resorufin, which can be quantified by measuring its fluorescence with excitation/emission maxima of 570/580 nm.
