• 소개 및 적용: Cocamidopropyl betaine is a popular surface-acting agent used in various cosmetics, including shampoos, cleansing lotions and gels, detergents, hair dyes, and styling products. It is also used in contact lens solutions and antiseptics. As an amphoteric surfactant, it is favored by cosmetic chemists due to its low potential for skin irritation, making it particularly useful in shampoos and bath products. However, it may also cause allergic reactions in some individuals when used in other cosmetic products, such as skin care products and deodorants, as well as in contact lens fluids. Derived from coconut oil salt, cocamidopropyl betaine is effective in creating high, creamy foam and is well-tolerated by the skin, making it ideal for use in shampoos, foam baths, and shower foams. It is a zwitterionic surfactant with mild detergent action and higher viscosity compared to other surfactants.
