• 소개 및 적용: Epitalon is a synthetic peptide consisting of four amino acids (alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine) that is modeled after the natural peptide epithalamin found in the pineal gland. It was developed by Russian professor and gerontologist Vladimir Khavinson, who has been researching peptide preparations to restore organ function and prevent or reverse the aging process for over 35 years. As the director of the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, his research led to the discovery of Epitalon as an active component in a bovine pineal gland extract known as Epithalamin. Epitalon is sometimes referred to as the "fountain of youth" peptide because it regulates the cell cycle during telomerase activity, an enzyme that elongates chromosomes and can delay the aging process by activating telomerase and lengthening telomeres.
